Hi, I'm Dev. I'm a Navy Reserve engineering officer, Carnegie Mellon MBA, and the founder of The Process Hacker. I live in San Francisco and help B2B service businesses scale with systems, automation, and AI.
The Origin Story
I came up as an engineer and a Navy officer. On paper things were fine. In practice I was the bottleneck: people, projects, and operations all ran through me, and home time lost.
The work ethic wasn't the problem. The system was.
I needed processes that ran without me standing in the middle of every handoff.
I launched The Process Hacker
I started The Process Hacker in 2019 to write down what actually worked: systems, tools, and automation I could reuse. A lot of it failed. The pieces that stuck became how I run work, and then how I help other operators run theirs.
